Our school's instrumental music students took to the stage at Friday's Creative Generation – Fanfare program, showcasing their talent, dedication and teamwork in a wonderful day of music-making.
Performing alongside schools from across the region, our ensembles delivered outstanding performances that reflected months of hard work, early morning rehearsals and practice at home.
Their efforts were recognised with excellent results:
• Senior Strings – Gold Award
• Junior Strings – Silver Award
• Concert Band – Gold Award
These achievements are a credit to the commitment of our young musicians and the guidance of Ensemble Directors Cath Gilmore (Strings) and Luke Coonan (Band).
A successful day such as this relies on the support of many people. We extend our sincere thanks to the staff members, parent volunteers and family supporters who assisted with supervision, transport and organisation throughout the event. Their generosity ensured our students could participate safely and confidently.
We would also like to thank the many family members and friends who attended to cheer on our performers. Your encouragement and support help make these opportunities even more meaningful for our students.
Most importantly, congratulations to all of our instrumental music learners. Your dedication to rehearsals, commitment to improving your skills and enthusiasm for performing were on full display. We are incredibly proud of the way you represented Sunshine Beach State School and look forward to seeing what you achieve next.
