One of the special strengths of our school community is the way students from around the world are welcomed and included from the moment they arrive.
Sara, visiting from Japan, is a wonderful example. This year marks her third visit in three years, and she is spending all of Term 1 with us. Now part of the 4/5RB class, Sara has quickly settled back into school life, catching up with familiar faces while also making plenty of new friends.
As an accredited International School, we are proud to offer opportunities for students from other countries to experience Australian school life while building meaningful connections with our Sunshiners. Just as importantly, our own students benefit too—developing cultural understanding, global awareness and friendships that reach far beyond the classroom.
The warmth shown by our students plays a big part in the success of the program. New visitors are welcomed with open arms, and returning students like Sara remind us just how powerful those connections can be.
We are delighted to have Sara back for another Sunshine adventure.
