The first Friday in November is Tuckshop Day, a state-wide celebration recognising the dedication of tuckshop workers and volunteers across Queensland. It’s our chance to say a big thank you to the wonderful team behind our own school tuckshop.
A special shout out goes to our incredible convenors, Jackie and Carla, whose hard work keeps everything running smoothly. From managing supplies to preparing countless lunches, their efforts make sure our Sunshiners are well-fed and ready to learn.
Our tuckshop is proudly operated by the P&C Association and we’re so grateful for their ongoing commitment and support. The tuckshop is an important part of our school community as it not only provides healthy food options but also creates a welcoming place for families to get involved.
We’re always on the lookout for more volunteers! Whether you can spare an hour or a morning, helping in the tuckshop is a fun, social way to contribute to school life. If you’d like to get involved, please contact the school office or our P&C.
Thank you to everyone who helps make our tuckshop such a friendly, vibrant part of Sunshine Beach State School!
