Last week, our Year 6 students in class 6AB had the unique privilege of meeting Clinton Hill, a renowned track athlete. Originally from South Africa, Clinton moved to Australia at 16 and has since achieved remarkable success, including winning an Olympic Silver Medal and a Commonwealth Gold Medal in the 400m. During his visit, Clinton shared captivating stories about his early sports experiences, his migration journey, and his significant accomplishments both on and off the track. The students were inspired by Clinton’s journey as they prepare for their own oral presentations this term.
A special thank you to intern teacher Amy for arranging this memorable visit, which perfectly complements our current curriculum. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Clinton Hill for dedicating his time to inspire our students.
