Our school permaculture garden has some fresh new additions! Thanks to Keith, the regional representative from Pick of the Crop, we’ve received a tray of seedlings to plant and nurture.

Pick of the Crop, developed by Health & Wellbeing Queensland, is a whole-school healthy eating initiative that encourages students to learn about and enjoy more fresh vegetables and fruit. Once grown, these vegetables will be used in our tuckshop for student lunches—bringing garden-to-plate learning to life!

A huge thank you to Pick of the Crop and Widebay Seedlings for their generous support in helping our Sunshiners grow, learn and eat well.
