Our Year 4 students had a fantastic and educational time making wood-fired Margherita pizzas while learning about Italian ingredients and recipes. This hands-on activity not only made learning Italian fun but also provided a real, immersive experience with the language and culture.
By including these interactive days in our curriculum, we help students learn Italian in a practical and engaging way. They get to use the language in a meaningful context, which makes their learning more memorable and exciting. This approach boosts their enthusiasm and helps them retain the language better, enriching their overall educational experience.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Andrea from Pizza Coppola for generously donating her time and bringing the food truck to our school.
