NAB AFL Auskick is the Australian Football League’s key introductory program for primary school-aged boys and girls and their families. Through its weekly coaching program students learn the skills of the game through appropriately modified activities and rules, play football in a fun and safe environment and make plenty of new friends too.
We aim to host a program after school on our school oval once per year. AFL Development officers co-ordinate the program. Enrolment information is communicated via our school newsletter and the AFL Auskick website.
We participate in the AFL schools' carnival which is a whole day event featuring many local schools. Age eligibility is generally 11 and 12 year olds.
Students participating in contact sports including Australian Rules Football, Hockey, Rugby League, Rugby Union and Water Polo MUST wear a mouthguard in order to participate in a school event. We have been asked to provide parents with mouthguard information. Please click here for this information.
