My name is Holly Thomas and I started at Sunshine Beach State School as a student in 1999. In 2013 I was lucky enough to return to this fantastic school as Year 3 teacher.
Since finishing high school I have studied at the University of Queensland and Central Queensland University. I have also gotten married and enjoyed living on the Sunshine Coast. My fondest memories of Sunshine Beach State School are the amazing teachers that I had who made school really enjoyable and getting the opportunity to travel to Brisbane and appear on the TV show Wipeout.
Year 7 camp at that time was to Canberra and Sydney and that was also a highlight that I will remember for the rest of my life. I enjoy coming to school every day and seeing my former teachers show the same care, dedication and passion they did 13 years ago.
I am currently involved with the Sunshine Beach State School Debating Group and the Junior Readers Cup. My goal is to be the best teacher that I can be and to make a positive influence in every life of every student I have the fortune of teaching.
