Prep is compulsory in Queensland and is considered the first formal year of schooling.  Our school is committed to ensuring that our learners make an early start to the pursuit of excellence in education in Prep.  We do this through a variety of ways:

• A comprehensive Prep transition program​ which is unique to our school. The program’s focus is getting to know our learners in their kindergarten year, before they become our students. We do this via regular visits to kindergarten and childcare centres in the Noosa area, meetings with kindergarten teachers, multiple information sessions and Prep Open days and social events for our pre-Preps. Through this, we get to know our prep learners and their families well and ensure a smooth start to their schooling.

• Providing engaging early childhood teaching spaces for our learners, which open out to an enviable purpose-built and vibrant play area.

• A team of early childhood experts - class teachers, teacher aides and music, physical education and special needs teachers who deliver world class educational programs and learning outcomes.

• Having high expectations through quality teaching of the Australian Curriculum in the key learning areas of English, Mathematics, Science, HASS, Physical Education, Music and the Arts are delivered within a nurturing, supportive and responsive early childhood setting.
