Planning for 2026 – help us prepare
It’s that time of year again when our leadership team begins planning class structures for 2026. As part of a state-wide education system, our staffing allocation is directly linked to student enrolment numbers. To ensure we’re well-prepared for the new school year, it’s essential that we have an accurate picture of how many students will be in each year level.
If your child will not be returning to Sunshine Beach State School in 2026, please notify the school office as soon as possible.
Likewise, if you have a child starting next year—or know of families planning to enrol—please encourage them to contact the office promptly.
As part of the planning process, class teachers will also be speaking with students about nominating 2–3 friends they’d like to be considered with for class placement. We encourage you to discuss this with your child over the coming weeks.
