As part of our Music program, our Year 5 and 6 students recently took part in a special incursion from Musica Viva Australia titled Music of the World. This high-energy, interactive performance brought together musical traditions from all over the world in a captivating show filled with rhythm, movement and fun.
The ensemble featured a mix of instruments including violin, piano accordion, saxophone and percussion, giving students a chance to experience how different cultures express themselves through music. The performers encouraged audience participation with clapping, singing and dancing—making the experience both entertaining and educational.
This event is just one example of how our school’s Music program brings learning to life and helps students build confidence, cultural awareness and a love for the performing arts!
