Recently, Year 1 students embarked on an excursion to the QCamel Farm, gaining hands-on learning experiences in Humanities, Science, and Technology. They explored diverse farm environments, witnessing firsthand the intricacies of ecosystems. Highlights included learning about camel milk production, which fascinated the students.
Year 1 teachers emphasised the importance of such real-world learning experiences, noting that activities outside the classroom enrich students' understanding and foster connections with their surroundings.
As the students returned from their trip, they brought back not only memories but also a deeper appreciation for the natural world. These immersive experiences play a crucial role in broadening students' horizons and enhancing their educational journey. They help students develop a deeper understanding of the world around them, paving the way for lifelong learning and growth.
