From boomerangs to Chinese dragons!

Our Year 3 learners were treated to a fabulous incursion recently when they listened to a presenter explain the significance of the dragon and lions head, Chinese culture, Chinese zodiac and counting in Chinese. Children had turns supporting the different parts of the beautifully decorated traditional dragon, gliding it around the hall to the Chinese music.

We are extremely fortunate to be able to experience different cultures because we are an accredited international school, and to be able to extend this learning is fantastic. It was even fun for a our Chinese international students - international student from China, Vigi, commented 'I have never been able to hold the dragon before. It was fun!'
