2018 Leaders inducted at assembly

​At a recent special assembly to induct and congratulate the Sunshine Beach 2018 student leaders, with families and special guests present, the student leaders accepted their certificates and badges, and made their leadership pledge to their peers, staff and guests.
Special guests included Mr Colin McFarlan from Parents and Citizens association, who congratulated the School Council representatives; Matthew Tucker, Noosa National Park Ranger, congratulated the Environmental Leaders and Kiyo Ono from Noosa Lexis English College encouraged the Cultural Leaders to continue with their good work. Former student and talented athlete Zane Branco, wished the House Leaders well. Recently appointed Adopt-a-Cop, Constable Tim Brown, congratulated the School Leaders.
Deputy Principal Tracy Blandford urged the students to understand the significance of their new roles. ‘Leaders have the opportunity to motivate and influence others. Congratulations to all our student leaders. Everyone however, contributes to our school and everyone has the opportunity to make a difference and make this world a better place. I look forward to working alongside side this fantastic team.’
